Vintage, Retro and Antique furniture and accessories shop Sorted is situated in the newly developed Old Post Office and is a veritable Aladdin’s Cave of delights.
All the pieces are carefully sourced for their unique and stylish nature by owners Catherine and Alison who have an eye for fashion and interior design as well as an innate sense of style that is reflected throughout.
The duo’s aim is to share their passion for interiors through the carefully designed layout and sourced stock which they hope will inspire customers to explore new styles and designs in their own homes. The appeal of Sorted is far reaching with something for everyone no matter what their age, taste or budget.
Sorted is proud to support the local community and utilises locally sourced talent and materials in the making of their own design range. Their kitchen tables, available in six sizes, are made to order using European Oak and offer an appealing blend of practicality and style.
Sorted also conforms to the concept of upcycling giving unwanted items a new lease of life. Old cashmere jumpers have been re-vamped to create striking cushions that make funky accessories for any room. A selection of Antique Turkish rugs have been sewn together into beautiful patchwork designs and a pair of old fashioned fire extinguishers have been reincarnated as lamps. Sorted prides itself on utilising available sources and the clever duo will undoubtedly gain recognition for their innovative re-use of previously unloved objects and materials.
Alongside the one off pieces of furniture and accessories Sorted sells items from a select number of brands which include; Madeleine Thompson Cashmere, Baileys Candles, I Coloniali, LA Made, Armand Basi and Snow Interiors.
The stock and layout of Sorted is unique and constantly evolving so customers can guarantee a different but equally inspirational experience every time they visit.
